bandwidth

0001-01-01

In computing, bandwidth is the maximum rate of data transfer across a path, often measured in bits or bytes per second.

In radio settings, bandwidth refers to the difference between the upper and lower frequencies within a band of frequencies.

“bandwidth” is also a term used in business settings to refer to the resources needed to perform a task. Ex: “Sorry Jim, I don’t have the bandwidth to get this done today.”
