7z can browse .vhd and .vmdk files

7z can be used to browse .vhd and .vmdk files. This is useful in pentesting scenarios; if you stumble upon backups, you can extract SAM, SECURITY, and SYSTEM hives or browse the filesystem using an explorer-like graphical interface.
