SMART goal

SMART goals are a technique used in project management in which goals must adhere to the following criteria:

  • Specific

  • Measurable

  • Action-oriented

  • Realistic

  • Time-phased

Setting SMART goals ensures that vague and immeasurable goals are not set, thus increasing the chances of the goal’s success.
