To enter the initial grip for the paper cutter choke from north south, Tori is on top position and overhooks one of uke’s arms straight through, not crossing over uke’s body, simultaneously turning their palm away from uke so it is facing upwards, and circles their arm underneath uke’s arm and behind their head, gripping the collar, four fingers in, with their palm touching uke’s spine.
