In BJJ, and other grappling martial arts, bicep slicers are a submission hold applied by the aggressor placing an appendage inside the elbow pit of their opponent, and then forcing the joint into a flexed position, similar to a nut cracking tool. This puts immense pressure on the opponent’s elbow joint and can cause joint separation, bone breaks, soft tissue damage to muscles, tendons or ligaments, or capsule rupture.
