password reuse

0001-01-01

Password reuse is the practice of using the same password for multiple accounts.

Password reuse is very common, but should be avoided because if one site with weak security has been compromised, the attacker can use these in spraying attacks to compromise additional services the user may have access to.

Using a password manager can help with avoiding password reuse.
