MFA

0001-01-01

Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is a security method in which more than one form of verification is required to access an object.

In a cybersecurity context, a user may need to have a password and a Yubikey to login to a computer.

In a real-world context, someone may need to present two forms of ID.
