Welcome to my web page. I’m Daniel Roberson. I live in Henderson, Nevada and work in cybersecurity and systems engineering roles. All opinions expressed on this site are my own and not those of my employers–past, present, or future.
I have over a decade of professional IT experience and have held certifications like OSCP, CISSP, GREM, GCFE, and GCFA. I prefer working with Unix-like systems such as Linux or macOS, but have been known to get down with Windows from time to time.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cybersecurity research and development, playing CTFs, cooking, amateur radio, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. You can find some of my code on GitHub and scattered around the Internet.
Personal Knowledge Management is a topic I have gotten into recently. You can see some of my notes here. My notes are integrated with this site using Emacs, Org-Roam, and ox-hugo. Please be advised that these are notes rather than fully fleshed-out writings. Although I strive for correctness, errata is to be expected.
If you wish to contact me, send me an email at daniel@planethacker.net. My GPG public key can be found here.
